The doctors at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital are back for new episodes of the successful drama, produced by Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios. The series will return Monday, Jan. 14 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network.

Over its many years of dominance on cable, A Christmas Storyhas swelled into a holiday film institution that transcends generations. Now, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is bringing the stage adaptation of the much-loved movie back to its Mainstage, running November 28 - December 23.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, has announced that The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' world premiere production of Scott C. Sickles' Nonsense and Beauty is a recipient of a 2018 Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. The $34,000 award will allow extra time for the development and rehearsal of the play with the entire creative team, hoping to extend the life of the play after its first run.

Netflix has renewed Atypical, the critically acclaimed original series created, written and executive produced by Robia Rashid (How I Met Your Mother, Will & Grace) for a third season.

For the final production of its 40th Anniversary Season, Stages Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of Mickey Fisher's Replica, running May 23 - June 10, 2018. Replica is the fourth world premiere Stages has produced this season (in addition to Balls, A Midnight Clear: A Musical Tale of Christmas and Purple Eyes). A television writer and producer as well as a playwright, Fisher is best known as the creator of the television series Extant (CBS, starring Halle Berry), Mars (National Geographic) and the upcoming Reverie (NBC), which premieres May 30.

The second Annual AutFest International Film Festival, presented by The Autism Society, will take place Saturday, April 28 - Sunday, April 29 at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills, California. It will screen six feature-length films, seven shorts and two television shows that promote autism awareness and/or are made by filmmakers with autism.

AutFest International Film Festival announced its official program selections for its second annual film festival celebrating autism awareness “From Spectrum to Screen.” Presented by The Autism Society, AutFest will screen over 16 feature films, short films and television programs that promote autism awareness and/or are made by autistic filmmakers. As previously announced, AutFest will also honor Netflix's hit show “Atypical” and ABC's “The Good Doctor” with Spotlight Awards for their special portrayal of lead characters who are on the autistic spectrum. The Visionary Award will be presented to SONY Pictures Entertainment's JEFF FROST, President of Sony Pictures Television Studios, and Co-Presidents of Sony Pictures Television CHRIS PARNELL and JASON CLODFELTER. AutFest International Film Festival celebrates autism awareness with a screening of Power Rangers (2017), followed by a panel discussion, as part of their 2018 lineup. Power Rangers is the first super hero movie to include an autistic lead character, the Blue Power Ranger, as a positive, capable champion of good. Now in its second year, AutFest Film Festival celebrates World Autism Awareness month and is dedicated to promoting films and television programs that spotlight autism awareness and that have the power to enhance the lives of the autistic community.

ABC has renewed the hit drama series “The Good Doctor” for the 2018-19 season, it was announced today by Channing Dungey, president, ABC Entertainment.

The unconventional Caught opens with an invitation for patrons to peruse an installation created by a Chinese artist. But once the audience actually meets said artist, the reality of the play begins to spiral out of control. Written by Christopher Chen and directed by Seth Gordon, this fourth wall-demolishing play runs from March 7 to 25 in The Rep's Studio Theatre.
