While on the road, Memphis cast members Jill Morrison and Christopher Gurr recorded the classic favorite Christmas song, 'Santa Baby,' with Jill singing lead vocals and Christopher playing ukelele and adding backup vocals. Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that individual tickets for Flashdance-The Musical and Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, both running in Minneapolis in April, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012. Flashdance-The Musical, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation, will debut in Minnesota April 2-7, 2013. Mary Poppins, combining the original stories of P.L. Travers with beloved songs from the 1964 Walt Disney film, returns as a special addition to the season April 23-28, 2013. Both shows will play the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis and are presented by Hennepin Theatre Trust as part of their 2012/13 Broadway Across America-Minneapolis Season.
