F*It Club, the New York Innovative Award-winning film and theatre company, continues its annual series of short, commissioned world-premiere plays at the IRT Theater as part of their 3B Development Series in Manhattan's West Village with The Spring Fling: Rebound, seven new short plays by Ngozi Anyanwu (Good Grief), Lucy Boyle (The Blue Deep), Liza Birkenmeier (Radio Island), Ryan King (Burying Augustus), Dan Moyer (Half Moon Bay), Matthew Paul Olmos (So Go The Ghosts of Mexico), and Leah Nanako Winkler (Kentucky).

Berkshire Theatre Group announces the final production of its upcoming 2017 Summer Season will be Mark Medoff's Tony, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Award-winning play, Children of a Lesser God, which will begin performances on Thursday, June 22 at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage. Opening night is set for Saturday, June 24 at 8pm.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced that Manhattan Theatre Club will present the American Repertory Theater production of In the Body of the World, written and performed by Tony Award winner Eve Ensler and directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus, as part of MTC's 2017-2018 season.

SpeakEasy Stage Company will honor artist and educator Lovely Hoffman and Boston philanthropist Samuel Yin for their sustained and passionate support of the arts at its 2017 Spring Gala, to be held Saturday, April 8, from 6-9PM at the Hyatt Regency, Boston.

The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director Gabriel Stelian-Shanks) will honor two outstanding stage luminaries at this year's 83RD Annual Drama League Awards, set for Friday afternoon, May 19, 2017 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway).

Asolo Rep continues its record-breaking 2017-18 season with Kristoffer Diaz's THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY, a 2010 Pulitzer Prize Finalist and the 2011 Obie Award-winner for Best New American Play. Directed by Jen Wineman, who previously helmed the educational touring productions of Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night's Dream for Asolo Rep and the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY previews April 4, 5 and 6, opens April 7 and runs through April 30. The play will be performed in the Cook Theatre, which will be transformed into a full-scale wrestling arena complete with two ringside seating sections to bring audiences even closer to the action. 

SPACE on Ryder Farm, a non-profit artist residency program located on Ryder Farm, an idyllic 221 year-old working organic farm in Brewster, NY, announces its lineup for the 2017 Working Farm Reading Series to be held at Playwrights Horizons in New York City April 3-7, 2017. All readings are free, and farm-fresh bites inspired by the plays and prepared by SPACE chefs will be served at each reading.

The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is receiving a rare New York revival this spring at The Ellen Stewart Theatre at La MaMa (66 East 4th Street) with previews beginning tonight, March 9th, 2017 for a limited Off-Broadway engagement through March 26th. Opening Night is set for Monday, March 13, 2017 at 7pm.

Lincoln Center Theater Platform Series, a forum for public discussion between Lincoln Center Theater artists and theatergoers, continues today, March 8, with HOW TO TRANSCEND A HAPPY MARRIAGE author Sarah Ruhl and director Rebecca Taichman.

The Public Theater will begin previews for the world premiere musical THE OUTER SPACE on Thursday, February 23 in Joe's Pub at The Public. With book and lyrics by Ethan Lipton and directed by Leigh Silverman, the show has been extended one week through Sunday, April 9, with an official press opening today, March 8. THE OUTER SPACE features music composed and performed by Ethan Lipton, Vito Dieterle, Eben Levy, and Ian Riggs.

LCT's production of How to Transcend a Happy Marriage begins performances on February 23rd at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65th Street). At a dinner party in the wilds of New Jersey, two married couples discuss a younger acquaintance - a polyamorous woman who also hunts her own meat. Fascinated, they invite this mysterious woman and her two live-in boyfriends to a New Year's Eve party, which alters the course of their lives. How to Transcend a Happy Marriage asks: how much love can a twosome contain? What are the limits of friendship, and what happens when parents who have forgotten their own wildness have a wild rumpus all their own?
