The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) announces the cast and creative team for Hamlet, directed by STC Artistic Director Michael Kahn and featuring acclaimed actor Michael Urie as the tortured Danish prince. Shakespeare's most celebrated tragedy will run January 16-February 25, 2018 at Sidney Harman Hall.

Critics J. Peter Bergman and Macey Levin once again hosted the ceremony, which saw top honors for Best Play go to the Berkshire Theatre Group's production of David Auburn's Lost Lake, and a tie between Barrington Stage Company's production of Stephen Sondheim's Company and the Mac-Haydn Theatre's production of Hello, Dolly! for Best Musical.

Pierrot Productions presents the touching rock musical 'Dogfight' at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times are Todays, Nov. 3 and 10 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Nov. 4 and 11 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Nov. 5 and 12 at 2 p.m.

Berkeley's Aurora Theatre Company presents a special limited engagement of OLGA A Farewell Concert, a piece created by Beth Wilmurt (The Letters, The Eccentricities of a Nightingale, Jack Goes Boating, Bosoms and Neglect, and Salome) and Her Band. The piece is commissioned by Aurora as part of the company's Originate + Generate (O+G) new works initiative to promote the creation of forward-looking theater. San Francisco Playhouse (Artistic Director Bill English; Producing Director Susi Damilano) announced casting for the second show of its 2017-18 Mainstage Season A Christmas Story: The Musical.
