Lookingglass Theatre Company Announces The Second Extension Of 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEAS

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces an extension of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar. Due to high ticket demand, additional dates, August 30 - September 9, 2018, have been added. 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas plays at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. This marks the second and final extension of the production.

World Premiere Of THE NICETIES Explores Race, Power In Academia

After developmental productions that drew high praise from prominent theatre critics, and left audiences alternately speechless and effusive, engaged and enraged, the Huntington Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Eleanor Burgess's explosive new play, The Niceties, running August 31 to October 6 at the South End/Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. The Huntington is pleased to produce the play in association with two other leading theatre companies. The production will move Off Broadway to Manhattan Theatre Club immediately following the Boston run, and then continue on to Princeton, NJ for performances at McCarter Theatre Center.  

Casting Announced For NATIVE GARDENS By Karen Zacarías

Today, Intiman Theatre announced the casting for its third mainstage production of its 2018 WILD, WICKED, WOKE Season: NATIVE GARDENS by Karen Zacarias, one of the most produced Latina playwrights in the nation. Intiman's production of NATIVE GARDENS will be directed by Seattle-based director Arlene Martinez-Vazquez and will play at The Jones Playhouse from September 6-30, 2018.

Casting Announced For The Lyceum Premiere Of A Hitchcock Masterpiece THE 39 STEPS

Casting is now complete for the Lyceum premiere of the intriguing and riotous comedy The 39 Steps. This fast-paced whodunit, playing from August 4 - August 12, will be directed by MICHAEL EVAN HANEY (Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, 2017 - Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, 2016 - Driving Miss Daisy, 2015). The production features DANIEL HARRAY as Richard Hannay, MALLORY HAWKS as Annabella Schmidt and several others, BEN ROSEBERRY as Clown 1, and QUIN GRESHAM as Clown 2.

Single Tickets Available Today for Cincinnati Playhouse 2018 Season

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park is now selling single tickets for all of the 12 season's productions, including the highly anticipated world premiere of CINCINNATI KING, a musical about Cincinnati's historic King Records, and the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit from the creator of Hamilton, IN THE HEIGHTS. Cornerstone Theater Co. To Present The Premiere Of UTOPIA PARKWAY

Cornerstone Theater Company is pleased to present the premiere of a new play, Utopia Parkway (working title) in Queens, New York this summer.
