From today, October 21-27, 2013 the Gold Coast Arts Center in collaboration with the Town of North Hempstead presents the 3rd annual Gold Coast International Film Festival (GCIFF), and everyone's invited-again-to join us for fantastic films, parties, panels, and fanfare! The festival has brought the latest Hollywood hits and Indie favorites to the Gold Coast of Long Island. Add A-list celebrities and unforgettable events to the mix and GCIFF has become the 'go to' Festival for film buffs and it is the last major film festival on The East Coast before Awards season.

Ephrata Performing Arts Center's Oct. 17- Nov. 2 production of Assassins frames portraits of nine presidential assassins and wannabes-from John Wilkes Booth through Lee Harvey Oswald-in the garish setting of a carnival shooting gallery. Rather than offend by glorifying these misfits and misguided 'patriots,' Assassins personalizes them with piercing insight, comedy and pathos.

With more than a dozen acting credits to his name, it certainly can't be denied that Italian-American actor, AnthonyL. Gurino isn't new to the industry. Born and raised in Howard Beach, NY, Gurino is a Meisner-trained actor and has studied at a number of highly-regarded programs in both New York City and Los Angeles, including the Esper Studio, Actors Alliance, New York Film Academy, and with the highly-respected acting coach, James Brill at the Legendary Neighborhood Playhouse.

Modernciné has announced that JUG FACE, the tense horror-thriller written and directed by Chad Crawford Kinkle, will have a national theatrical roll out on August 9th through its domestic distribution arm Modern Distributors.

Producer/Director Andrew van den Houten of Modernciné announced today that his company has tapped “Final Destination” creator Jeffrey Reddick to adapt “The Undertakers,” the first in a series of young-adult books by Ty Drago.

Gravitas Ventures announced today that they have acquired U.S. VOD rights to JUG FACE, the tense horror-thriller that was written and directed by Chad Crawford Kinkle. The film was produced by Andrew van den Houten ("Funeral Kings," 'The Woman") and Robert Tonino ('Home Movie," "Ghoul") for Moderncine, and stars Lauren Ashley Carter ("The Woman"), Sean Bridgers ("Deadwood"), Sean Young ("Blade Runner"), Larry Fessenden ("I Sell the Dead") and Daniel Manche ("The Girl Next Door"). The film was executive produced by Lucky McKee, Arrien Schiltkamp and Loren Semmens. JUG FACE won the Slamdance Grand Prize Screenwriting Award in 2011 and debuted as a Special Screening selection at this year's festival. The film is slated for a July Pre-Theatrical VOD premiere, followed by a national theatrical roll out.
