It's always exciting to see how different producing theaters tackle a legendary show such as Les Miserable. The Media Theatre cast and creative team has put a lot of heart and hard work into this production and it shows!

During the Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas season 'Les Miserables' (November 19, 2014 to January 11, 2015) brings its power to Delaware County's only professional music theatre.

Whoever said that, 'love makes the world go round' was right. At least according to the characters in Creede Repertory's production of The Last Romance at the Arvada Center, he was. However, in this show, the conventions of a typical young love are cast aside, because the lovers in this story are in their twilight years, and proving that there is always more love to be found in life.

The Arvada Center will host the critically acclaimed Creede Repertory Theatre's (CRT) presentation of The Last Romance by Joe DiPietro in the Black Box Theater. Previews are today, September 26 through 28 at 7:30 p.m. nightly, opening Tuesday, September 30 through October 26.

Sunset Boulevard is not the best musical that Andrew Lloyd Webber ever composed. Its primary storyline; the decline and fall of an aging silent film diva is oddly compelling. The score gets repetitious with the exception of a few torch songs and the lyrics may not always be up to snuff with the music. That having been said, Media Theatre's production is polished and compelling.

Bristol Riverside Theatre kicks off the holiday season with Winter Musicale on December 5-15, 2013. This family program presents favorite holiday songs from yesterday and today, including traditional carols, popular classics, contemporary arrangements and original songs to celebrate the spirit of the season. Directed by Keith Baker, the program features BRT favorites Philip Chaffin, Anthony D'Amato, Robert Farruggia, Laura Giknis, Jessica Gruver, Elyse Langley, Meera Mohan, and Sean Thompson, joined by Keith Baker and the BRT Concert Band.

A production with fabulous performers, a red-hot band, and the sounds of Broadway's best showstoppers, BRT Broadway Collection will have audiences singing and dancing in aisles.
