On February 25th, Feinstein's/54 Below will present 'In Memoriam,' a concert celebration of this season's Broadway and off-Broadway shows that have closed too soon. Original cast members from Allegiance, Amazing Grace, Gigantic, and Spring Awakening will be performing songs from their shows, and sharing some behind the scenes stories and photos.
The lineup is complete for Broadway Sings Billy Joel, the 10th installment of the star-studded BROADWAY SINGS concert series. A cast of 20 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the Piano Man's greatest hits. The performers will be accompanied by a jazz orchestra playing original orchestrations. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Sara Bareilles.
Deaf West Theatre's acclaimed Broadway production of SPRING AWAKENING closes today, Sunday, January 24 after 129 performances. The production will have life after Broadway, however, with a national tour scheduled to launch in 2017.

On December 15th a cast Broadway favorites will take to the stage of 54 Below to celebrate the music of the 2001 cult classic movie 'Josie and the Pussycats.' An interactive American Sign Language experience will be held at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre prior to the Tuesday, December 1st performance of Deaf West Theatre's acclaimed production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's Spring Awakening, BroadwayWorld has confirmed. Producer and Deaf West Theatre Artistic Director D.J. Kurs, along with members of the cast, will lead an inside look into the process of translating the lyrics of Spring Awakening into American Sign Language. Signed words and lyrics from the show will be taught, followed by a sing- and sign-along.
