The North Carolina Black Repertory Company (NC Black Rep) is excited to announce new programming at the 2019 National Black Theatre Festival (NBTF) titled Shakespeare at Sunset. In collaboration with The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), NC Black Rep will produce Twelfth Night, or What You Will at the Winston Square Park Amphitheatre in downtown Winston-Salem. Harvard University's ART Institute, the university's graduate-level theater program within the American Repertory Theater, recently announced a three-year admissions suspensions while administrators implement a strategic plan to stabilize the troubled program. On July 30, the A.R.T. Institute Alumni Association sent a letter to the leaders of the Institute criticizing Diane Paulus's 'little respect or interest in the program' and 'negligence in her duty to the Institute.'
