Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre introduces a new community Book Club, beginning with the February production of Shipwrecked! An Entertainment: The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougement (As Told by Himself).  For each of its three annual Main Stage shows, Dreamcatcher will offer an audience the opportunity to read the script before the show, and then participate in a talk-back experience with the actors and creative team where audience members can discuss in depth the choices that the director made in interpreting the play for the stage.

If you enjoyed the corny fun of those old-fashioned holiday variety shows starring Donny and Marie, Perry Como and The Mandrell Sisters, you'll love A Very Special (Holiday) Special at Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre today and Saturday, December 2 and 3 at 8:00 p.m.  Located at their home at the Oakes Center in Summit, Dreamcatcher takes a break from their mainstage schedule to perform their affectionate send-up of traditional holiday entertainment.

When Michael John McGoldrick joined The Theater Project's playwrights workshop in 2012, he was working as a high school English teacher; three years later he was accepted to the graduate theater program at Arizona State University. Home in New Jersey this summer, he will discuss his transition and his newest play when The Theater Project stages WORLD'S END as a script in hand performance, 7:30 Tuesday evening, June 21, at the Burgdorff Cultural Center, 10 Durand Road, Maplewood, NJ.

?The Morris Museum is proud to announce the complete casting for its spring play, My Mother, My Sister & Me. This world premiere stars longtime Broadway favorite Loni Ackerman (Sylvia Fenster). The cast also includes Laura Ekstrand (Arlene Abrams), Stephanie Windland (Robin Abrams), Gary Littman (Danny Abrams), Scott McGowan (Heshy Mankowitz), Ethan Berman (Marco Lopez), and introducing Paris Mercurio as Holly Abrams. My Mother, My Sister & Me was written by former Bronx native and current New Jersey resident, Sherri Heller and will be directed by Eric Hafen, Producing Artistic Director of the Bickford Theatre.  The play will run twelve times at the Bickford Theatre from April 7 through April 24, 2016.
