The New York Philharmonic has released a video of Paganini's “Cantabile” performed by NY Phil violinist Yulia Ziskel, accompanied by Scott Kuney on guitar.

From Hello, Dolly! and Mame to La Cage aux Folles, no one has written 'showtunes' with as much exuberance as Jerry Herman whose musicals offer an optimistic approach to the human condition, finding common ground with his audience by showing us that the differences between us are, in fact, what unite us. Lyrics & Lyricists 2020 season continues with a celebration of the composer, lyricist and songwriter whose joyful scores have sent us from the theater humming for more than 50 years. Singing them at L&L are Quentin Earl Darrington (Once on This Island), Cady Huffman (The Will Rogers Follies, Chicago, The Producers), Bryonha Marie Parham (The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, Prince of Broadway), and Ryan Vona (Once, Beautiful).

The Pit Stop Players, the celebrated New York-based instrumental chamber ensemble composed of veteran Broadway pit musicians, will open their eighth season with 'ABSOLUT COLLUSION,' an all-Russian concert at Good Shepherd-Faith Presbyterian Church, 152 West 66th Street, on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

The Pit Stop Players, the celebrated New York-based instrumental chamber ensemble composed of veteran Broadway pit musicians, will open their eighth season with 'ABSOLUT COLLUSION,' an all-Russian concert at Good Shepherd-Faith Presbyterian Church, 152 West 66th Street, on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

The Leonia Chamber Musicians Society, Inc. will perform the second of a three concert series on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, located at 150 Park Avenue in Leonia, New Jersey. 

NATALIE DOUGLAS - the acclaimed vocalist hailed as "sensational" by Time Out New York and "stirring" by The New York Daily News - will debut the new concert "HELLO DOLLY…THE MUSIC OF DOLLY PARTON" on Monday, September 15 at 9:30 PM. Douglas honors another notably-buxom performer: the beloved singer, actor, songwriter and Broadway composer Dolly Parton. Selections including songs that Dolly wrote such as "Jolene," "Coat of Many Colors" and "I Just Might" from the Broadway musical 9 to 5, in addition to numbers that Dolly creatively covered like Neil Young's "After The Gold Rush" and Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven." Natalie will be joined by her longtime Musical Director Mark Hartman (Broadway's Avenue Q, Sondheim on Sondheim) on piano, accordion and mandolin; Michael Blanco on bass; Scott Kuney on guitar and banjo; Joe Choroszewski on drums and Shanna Sharp on acoustic guitar.
