Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Jessie Mueller, who won rave reviews and the 2014 Tony Award for her heartwarming portrayal of Carole King, has extended her contract in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical until March 6, 2015. Her co-stars, Tony Award-nominees Anika Larsen and Jarrod Spector, who play legendary songwriting couple Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, will remain in the show until September 2015.

Campbell, previously with Jersey Boys, will step into the role of 'Gerry Goffin' in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, beginning Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Campbell will take over for Jake Epstein. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) on Sunday, January 12, 2014, where it has broken all box office records and continues to play to standing-room-only crowds nightly.

This weekend the National Tour of American Idiot had a very Canadian feel as the three main 'Idiots' were played by three Canadian boys when Gabriel Antonacci stepped into the role of Johnny (usually played by Van Hughes). BWW was thrilled to go back to the show in order to see three hometown boys rock out together.
