Four generations of musicians will come together for a one night only, special event during GRAMMY Week 2018. On Tuesday, January 23, at The New School's John L. Tishman Auditorium, students and faculty from The New School's College of Performing Arts with Renaissance Youth Center's Music with a Message Band, will perform with legendary artists and GRAMMY Award Winners William Bell and Bobby Rush. The event is made possible through a special collaboration between four partners - Take Me To The River, The GRAMMY Museum, The Renaissance Youth Center and The New School's College of Performing Arts - and shows how cross-cultural and intergenerational collaborations in music positively impact our community.

Following a sold-out 24-show tour in Japan and Hawaii earlier this year, Los Angeles audiences will be treated to two special events celebrating Gibson Guitar legend Matsumoto and ukulele virtuoso/multi-instrumentalist Ho's debut album. Then, four days later, a sensational live concert experience The Electric Island, Acoustic Sea Concert will rock JACCC's Aratani Theater in Little Tokyo on Saturday, October 14, 2017.
