BroadwayWorld has learned that AMAZING GRACE, the new musical playing at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street), will play its final performance on Sunday, October 25. On that date, the show will have played 24 preview performances and 114 regular performances. Good news, though -- a national tour of the production is being planned by Troika Entertainment, with more details to be announced!

The Church of St Paul the Apostle on the corner of Columbus Avenue and West 60th Street in NYC has developed a wonderful tradition of welcoming a variety of visitors and worshippers to its congregation. Broadway's new musical Amazing Grace begins rehearsals today. The cast features Tony Award nominee Josh Young, Erin Mackey, Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper, Tom Hewitt, Chris Hoch, Stanley Bahorek, Harriett D. Foy, Laiona Michelle, Rachael Ferrera and Elizabeth Ward Land.

Following the new musical's acclaimed, sold-out world premiere in Chicago, Amazing Grace just announced the full 31-member company returns for the Broadway engagement. Tom Hewitt as 'Captain Newton' joins previously announced stars Tony Award nominee Josh Young, Erin Mackey, Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper, Chris Hoch, Stanley Bahorek, Harriett D. Foy,Laiona Michelle, Rachael Ferrera and Elizabeth Ward Land.

Hazel Flagg has a book by Ben Hecht, lyrics by Bob Hilliard, and music by Jule Styne.
