On Friday, January 20, 2012, the hit Off-Broadway comedy MISS ABIGAIL'S GUIDE TO DATING, MATING, AND MARRIAGE! kicks off its first national tour at the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre in Rochester, NY.
Second Stage Theatre opened THE BLUE FLOWER written by Jim Bauer and Ruth Bauer, with choreography by Chase Brock and direction by Will Pomerantz, last night, November 9. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the after party and brings you photo coverage below.
Broadway stars including cast members from Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Ben Walker, Kate Roberts, and Erin Felgar), American Idiot (John Gallagher Jr., Theo Stockman, Rebecca Jones and Libby Winters) and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Celia Keenan-Bolger and Sarah Saltzberg) gathered and sang Monday night at Colt Coeur's 2nd Annual Karaoke Classic Benefit in Brooklyn. Rightor Doyle, Mamie Gummer and Celia Keenan-Bolger chaired the event which raised funds for Play Hotel (Colt Coeur's ongoing reading series, and their principal arena for developing new work) as well as their next production.
The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announced today the eight musicals selected to be part of the 23rd Annual Festival of New Musicals on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).
At the 5 p.m. performance on Saturday, October 29, 2011, the hit Off-Broadway comedy MISS ABIGAIL'S GUIDE TO DATING, MATING, AND MARRIAGE! will include a cameo appearance from Ramona Singer, currently starring in Bravo TV's hit show 'The Real Housewives of New York.'

Anthony Rapp, Marc Kudisch and Sarah Saltzberg are back as performances of DON'T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB resume at Le Poisson Rouge June 30 at 11.30pm. All proceeds will go to Open Doors, a mentoring program for high school students.
