The Guthrie Extends The Run Of THE 39 STEPS Thru 12/26

Due to overwhelming box office demand, the Guthrie Theater today announced the addition of five performances to the run of their smash hit production of The 39 Steps, a fast-paced and hilarious comedic thriller that celebrates the magic of theater.

Washington DC's Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced that they will present a revival of their recent production of TWELFTH NIGHT as part of their Free For All series, which features free performances of Shakespeare plays. The production will take place at Sindey Harman Hall, located at 610 F Street NW, and will run from August 19 to September 5.

Agnew, Hansen, Guidry et al. Lead Guthrie Theater's DOLLHOUSE, 5/27-7/11

The Guthrie Theater today announced that Sarah Agnew (currently appearing as Beatrice in Yale Rep's production of The Servant of Two Masters) will lead the cast of Rebecca Gilman's Dollhouse, playing Nora in a modern-day critique of middle-class life in an adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's groundbreaking and controversial masterpiece A Doll's House (previously seen at the Guthrie in 1996).
