Everybody cut loose because Footloose: The Musical is dancing in to Chester's Storyhouse next week on its first visit to the city and marking the first visiting production and the start of the new season.

Following an acclaimed 2016 UK Tour, worldwide smash hit musical Footloose: The Musical will burst back onto the stage in 2017 starring Gareth Gates and Maureen Nolan, playing at the Belgrade Theatre from Tues 13 to Sat 17 June.

Funnier than the black death!  Spamalot is back in a brand-new production from Selladoor Productions and Mercury Theatre Colchester. Spamalot transfers from its critically acclaimed run in Colchester and will open on 11 September 2017 at Blackpool Opera House before embarking on a UK tour for 2017/2018 also visiting Korea in June as part of Selladoor Worldwide's ongoing International strategy.

When Laura Wade's Posh premiered at the Royal Court in 2010, its dark promise that these destructive student toffs - members of the Riot Club, a loosely fictional version of Oxford's Bullington - would one day run the country had a timely frisson: former club members David Cameron, George Osborne and Boris Johnson occupied Downing Street and the mayoral office respectively.

The world premiere of an all-female version of Posh, which is currently running at London's Pleasance Theatre with a press night set for 3 April, gives Laura Wade's play a new, topical voice by allowing women to take centre stage in roles originally written for men. The production is directed by Off West End Award winner Cressida Carre. ???????Full casting is announced today for Footloose: The Musical, which returns next month following a smash-hit 2016 tour. Opening at New Wimbledon Theatre on Friday 21 April, the tour will include a strictly limited West End season at The Peacock, playing for three weeks from Tuesday 12 September 2017.

Following the huge success of last year's event, Audience members are encouraged to 'ROCK OUT' with the cast, following the musical's return to its London home at the Arts Theatre in July.

911 and The Big Reunion star Lee Brennan will make his musical theatre debut when he joins the cast of Footloose: The Musical, playing the role of Willard from tonight 19 April to Saturday 18 June 2016.

As previously announced, double platinum selling artist Newton Faulkner joins the cast of Green Day's explosive Tony Award-winning musical, AMERICAN IDIOT, on its UK tour this spring. Newton will be taking on the role of Johnny from May 2016 after Matt Thorpe, who will open the role from tonight, 19 March at the Curve Theatre, Leicester until 7 May at the New Theatre, Oxford.
