Associate Conductor and chorusmaster John Finney returns to once again lead Handel and Haydn Society in a holiday celebration of Bach's music. The Christmas Oratorio continues Handel and Haydn's holiday tradition of bringing the finest gems by Bach following the annual performances of Messiah. The Boston Globe described the 2011 Bach holiday concert as "a whirlwind sleigh ride that even Santa might envy" and in 2010 pronounced that "the music of Johann Sebastian Bach is nearly as crucial to Christmas as Santa Claus, Salvation Army bell-ringers, and eggnog."

New York-New York Hotel & Casino will deck The Broadway Theater's halls as it welcomes the family-friendly holiday show "Christmas in New York." This limited-time holiday engagement is now open and will run through Dec. 30, 2012, nightly at 7:00 p.m. and selected afternoons at 4:00 p.m. (dark Mondays).

A Christmas Story, The Musical arrives on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre just in time for the 2012 holiday season. Thursday, December 20 through Sunday, December 23, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and the big jolly man himself reunite with the spectacular Rubicon Family Christmas cast for a joyous celebration at the Ventura College Theatre for seven performances only. The stellar cast includes Joan Almedilla, Teri Bibb, Dina Bennett, Trey Ellett, Anthony Manough and Brian Sutherland, who have starred on Broadway in such shows as Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar, Miss Saigon, 1776 and Rent, among others. The award winning Arvada Center will open Miracle on 34th Street, The Musical directed by Gavin Mayer tonight, November 27 running through December 23, 2012 in the Main Stage Theater. The musical is based on the story "Miracle on 34th Street" by Valentine Davies; book, music and lyrics were written and composed by Meredith Willson (The Music Man and The Unsinkable Molly Brown).

Despite a strong, talented cast, the musical only offers a hodge-podge of mostly unmemorable songs that try too hard to recreate composer Meredith Wilson's most famous scores.

The 2012 Hollywood Christmas Parade will be held in the streets of Hollywood, CA this Sunday, November 25, 2012, kicking off with a Pre-Parade Spectacular Show from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., followed by the parade proper from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

When his good intentions get him in trouble with Santa Claus and land him on The Naughty List, Timmy must find a way to save Christmas before it's too late. The TV movie is executive produced by Nickelodeon hit-maker Butch Hartman and is based on his Emmy Award-winning animated series The Fairly OddParents.
