Pontine Theatre to Present A NEW ENGLAND CHRISTMAS, 12/12-14

Pontine Theatre presents it's original production, A New England Christmas, underwritten by Chris Dwyer & Michael Huxtable. Pontine's Artistic Directors, Marguerite Mathews and Greg Gathers, perform a selection of Christmas stories and poems by New England authors, including Mary Wilkins Freeman, William Dean Howells, Sarah Orne Jewett, Ogden Nash and more. The show combines lively storytelling and charming Victorian-style Toy Theatre Figures along with seasonal music. These charming holiday tales - in addition to holiday punch and cookies - are sure to put you in the Christmas spirit! Performances are offered Friday @7:30, Saturday @4 & Sunday @2. Tickets are $24 and may be purchased online at www.pontine.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the door (check & cash only) a half-hour prior to each performance, based on availability. SOPAC Presents A JAZZY NUTCRACKER, 12/06

Graham Lustig's A Jazzy Nutcracker is "jumpin' with jazz" in this adaptation of the timeless seasonal production, Dec. 6. Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway's 'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS Begins Tonight

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.' One of the most iconic opening lines in any piece of writing in history, and the basis for the Children's Theatre's 2014 Christmas presentation. Beginning tonight, November 22nd, The Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway will be reviving its original production of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, which first appeared at the theatre during the 2010 Season.

Additionally, with TCT¹s continuing commitment to our local charities, we are honored to be working with Hope Clinic for Women. Established in 1983, Hope Clinic is a faith based, confidential haven for women, men and families dealing with all aspects of pregnancy. Their services include medical care, professional counseling, education, mentorship and material support. During the run of Christmas Belles, a bin will be located in the lobby to collect diapers, baby toiletries, and receiving blankets for the families that Hope Clinic serves.

Welcome in the holiday season at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC) Kelsey Theatre as M & M Stage Productions presents the Christmas classic, 'Miracle on 34th Street.' Performance dates for this joyous family musical are Fridays, Nov. 21 and 28 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Nov. 22 and 29 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Nov. 23 and 30 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is conveniently located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Capital City Showcase to Present THE DMV ROAST, 12/2

The Capital City Showcase, the variety show with the best comedians, musicians, and performing artists in the DC area, returns with its latest feature: The DMV Roast, on Tuesday, December 2nd at 8:00pm! The DMV Roast is on the first Tuesday of every month at The Brixton, located at 901 U St NW, Washington DC 20001. Some of the area's funniest comics come together to roast DC's sports teams, public figures, and current events. Each show will feature a 'comic stand-in' to play the part of the idea being roasted. For the next edition of The DMV Roast, we will be roasting Christmas. The part of Santa Claus will be played by comedian Jamel Johnson.
