Yesterday, Macy's Herald Square kicked off the season with a full day of holiday fun and entertainment in anticipation of the annual unveiling of the Christmas windows; Santa's Journey to the Stars. BroadwayWorld brings you photos of the Christmas tradition below!
The magic began in the morning with continuous screenings of the holiday classic feature film, Miracle on 34th Street (1947), courtesy of Turner Classic Movies. And just as the sun set, the Macy's Herald Square Christmas Window Unveiling Spectacular began with a special appearance by the stars of Broadway's You Can't Take It With You: James Earl Jones; Annaleigh Ashford; Mark Linn-Baker and Patrick Kerr.
For the grand finale, the one-and-only Santa Claus and four very special Make-A-Wish® kids lead the countdown and flipped the switch to unveil the 2014 Christmas Windows.
