As part of Performance Network's continued dedication to support and provide a voice for new and emerging playwrights, the Fireside Festival of New Works will be held December 5th - 8th. This twice-yearly festival of staged readings, which is to be held at Performance Network Theatre, will feature brand new works by four Michigan playwrights. Each reading will be followed by a post-show discussion with the playwright and director.

Williamston Theatre announces its production of IT CAME FROM MARS by playwright, Joseph Zettelmaier, running from March 31 to April 18th. MARS is a recipient of the prestigious Edgerton Foundation New American Play Award, which is granted to only a handful of theatres nationwide. This world premiere comedy starred Wayne David Parker, Sandra Birch, Joseph Albright, Jacob Hodgson, Alysia Kolascz and Morgan Chard. It is directed by WT Artistic Director Tony Caselli (A PICASSO).

IT CAME FROM MARS Lands at Williamson Theatre, 3/31-4/18

Mid-Michigan's newest professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam in downtown Williamston, is thrilled to announce the World Premiere of It Came From Mars by Joseph Zettelmaier. Tickets for this outrageous out-of-this-world comedy are now on sale. This Limited Engagement of It Came From Mars begins with a special Wednesday Preview at eight o'clock March 31. The Official Opening Night is Thursday, April 1 with the show scheduled to run through Sunday, April 18. Performances will run Thursday and Friday evenings at eight o'clock, Saturday matinees at three o'clock and evenings at eight o'clock, and Sunday matinees at two o'clock. Please note there will be no performances on Sunday, April 4.
