Olivia Williams Leads SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE at St. James Theatre, Sept 11

David Gilmore, Artistic Director of the St. James Theatre, today announces the next production at the St. James Theatre. Scenes from a Marriage, written by Ingmar Bergman, adapted by Joanna Murray-Smith and directed by Trevor Nunn will run from 11 September to 09 November. The press night will take place on 16 September 2013, almost exactly one year since the theatre's first press night, for Bully Boy by Sandi Toksvig, which took place on 18 September 2012.

According to the Daily Mail, a new musical based on the life of Dusty Springfield is being developed for a 2014 opening in the West End. Writer and broadcaster Sandi Toksvig, Springfield's former manager and friend Vicki Wickham and THE BODYGUARD's David Ian are part of the creative and producing team.

The St. James Theatre, in collaboration with Combat Stress, will mark World Mental Health Day tonight, 10 October with a Q&A session which will take place after the 7.30pm performance of Bully Boy. The panel will comprise Sandi Toksvig, Bully Boy's writer; Anthony Andrews, who plays Major Oscar Hadley in the production and Commodore Andrew Cameron, the Chief Executive of Veterans' mental health charity Combat Stress. Patrick Sandford, Bully Boy's director, will chair the event. The Q&A session is open to all audience members who have attended that evening's performance of Bully Boy.

After a successful first series earlier this year, The Curtain Up Show returns to London's arts radio station, Resonance 104.4fm, for a new 11 week run. Tim McArthur will be joined live in the studio at midday on Friday by Sam Buttery and Katie Kerr who are currently starring as Leigh Bowery and Big Sue in the Boy George musical, Taboo, at the Brixton Clubhouse. Tim will also be joined by Joshua Miles who is currently starring opposite Anthony Andrews in Bully Boy by Sandi Toksvig at the newly opened St. James Theatre.

St. James Theatre, the first newly-built theatre complex in central London in 30 years, will open to the public in early August 2012, rising from the site of the former Westminster Theatre at 12 Palace Street in the heart of Victoria. David Gilmore, Artistic Director, today announced the theatre's first season of work.
