LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater opens its 2016-2017 season with the world premiere of The Harvest, by Samuel D. Hunter, directed by Davis McCallum. The Harvest, whose cast will feature Gideon Glick, Scott Jaeck, Leah Karpel, Peter Mark Kendall, Madeleine Martin, Christopher Sears, and Zoe Winters, is running for six weeks only through Sunday, November 20th at the Claire Tow Theater. Mary Beth Fisher and James Vincent Meredith to Star in ROZ AND RAY at Victory Gardens

Victory Gardens Theater continues its 42st season with the world premiere of Roz and Ray, written by Karen Hartman and directed by Artistic Director Chay Yew. Roz and Ray features Mary Beth Fisher (Roz) and James Vincent Meredith (Ray). This World Premiere runs November 11 - December 11, 2016, with the press performance on Friday, November 18, 2016, at 7:30 pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

MY NAME IS GIDEON Finds New Home After Walkerspace Closure

All For One Theater (AFO) has announced that Gideon Irving will indeed make his American stage debut with his new solo show My Name Is Gideon: I'm Probably Going To Die, Eventually which now opens Thursday, November 17th at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place).

Full Cast for RANCHO VIEJO Announced - Mark Blum, Bill Buell and More!

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced complete casting for RANCHO VIEJO, the world premiere of a new play by Dan LeFranc (The Big Meal at Playwrights, Sixty Miles to Silver Lake, In the Labyrinth) and directed by three-time Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (Placebo, This at Playwrights; Fool For Love; Bad Jews; 4000 Miles; [sic]).  Commissioned by Playwrights Horizons, RANCHO VIEJO will be the third production of the theater company's 2016/2017 Season.   

Annual PlayLabs Festival Runs October 17–23 at the Playwrights' Center

The Playwrights' Center's 45th anniversary season kicks off October 17 with PlayLabs, a week-long new play festival featuring Core Writers Christina Ham ('West of Central'), Susan Soon He Stanton ('we, the invisibles') and Ken Urban ('The Remains'). Tickets are free and can be reserved at pwcenter.org/playlabs.

A LIFE, Starring David Hyde Pierce, Extends Before Off-Broadway Opening

Playwrights Horizons has announced a two-week extension for A LIFE, the world premiere of a new play by Obie Award winner Adam Bock (A Small Fire and The Drunken City at Playwrights, The Receptionist, The Thugs, Swimming in the Shallows).  Directed by two-time Obie Award winner Anne Kauffman (Marjorie Prime, Detroit, Maple and Vine at Playwrights; You Got Older; Belleville; This Wide Night; Smokefall), A LIFE will be the second production of the theater company's 2016/2017 Season.  

HAND TO GOD Begins Extended Run at Victory Gardens Theater Tonight

Victory Gardens Theater recently announced the extension of its first show of its 42st season, Hand To God by Robert Askins, directed by Gary Griffin due to early ticket demand. Hand To God now runs tonight, September 16, through October 23, 2016, with the press performance on Friday, September 23, 2016, at 7:30 pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.
