Jackalope Theatre Company, the Edgewater-based group which cultivates theatre that manifests the adventure deeply rooted in the American mythos, announces the first production in its sixth season. Jackalope's season begins with the world premiere of THE PEACOCK,written by Calamity West and directed Marti Lyons. It will play November 7 - December 8 at City Lit Theater, 1020 W. Kelley's adaptation of Richard Wright's Native Son which will receive a production in fall of 2014.
