Today the Austin-based trio Greyhounds have released their new album Cheyenne Valley Drive. Sporting ten tracks ranging from swaggering boogie to space-age soul, each song feels both timelessly lived-in and uniquely fresh. The album is currently streaming via Billboard.com who spoke with singer/guitarist Andrew Trube about their approach in the studio; 'The key is just not to overthink it,' says Trube. 'So many people stew on it, especially now when you can go really deep on the computer and spend months and months on one song, editing and fine-tuning. But then all the little fun curve-ball things usually get taken out, and to me that's the good stuff.'

A collection of soulful songs originally recorded by black southern gospel groups, Don't Let The Devil Ride was co-produced by Billy Maddox and Colin Linden and recorded in three legendary locations: Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis, FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, and Preservation Hall in New Orleans. Don't Let The Devil Ride features contributions from the Blind Boys of Alabama, The McCrary Sisters, the Preservation Hall Jazz Horns and Bonnie Bishop. Today, Thorn shared the video for 'You Got To Move,' debuted by Glide Magazine, which features special behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the album at these legendary studios.

New York critics gave many unfavorable reviews to Million Dollar Quartet for what they called a dearth of dramatic tension onstage, but it went on to receive a Tony nomination for Book of a Musical in 2010 anyway, and based on the overly passionate delivery of the sizzling artists recreating the show for 3-D Theatricals, there's enough fervor to bring audiences to their feet and shakin' in Redondo through February 18 and then in Cerritos until March 4. On opening night there was indeed an extra long standing - and swaying - ovation to 'Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On'.
