Ahead of the premiere of its highly-anticipated music series ROADIES, SHOWTIME will debut a celebratory documentary, titled MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP, honoring the essential role of roadies on tour. The 35-minute film, directed and executive produced by Sam Jones (Lost Songs: The Basement Tapes Continued, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart) will premiere on Friday, June 24th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. ROADIES, the new original series from Oscar® winner Cameron Crowe and executive producers Winnie Holzman and J.J. Abrams, will premiere Sunday, June 26th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

HOUSTON (October 29, 2014) – On November 13-16, Houston audiences will experience a powerful opening to the 3 Weeks of Beethoven, a multi-weekend celebration of Beethoven's music, led by new Music Director Andrés Orozco-Estrada. Andrés lends his unique blend of passion and electricity to 11 thrilling performances over three weeks, which begin a larger three-year cycle of all nine Beethoven symphonies between the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons.

On September 19, 20 and 21, the Houston Symphony will kick off its 101st season of classical subscription concerts, the first with Andres Orozco-Estrada as Music Director, in a performance of Rachmaninoff's deeply romantic Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring renowned pianist Andre Watts making his Houston return. Enduringly popular since its 1901 debut, the concerto's themes have found fame in movies such as Brief Encounter, The Seven Year Itch and the popular song 'All by Myself.'
