Told through three of the greatest plays by Tom Murphy including Conversations on a Homecoming on October 17 & 20, A Whistle in the Dark on October 18 & 20, and Famine on October 19 & 20, DruidMurphy is a major celebration of one of Ireland's most respected living dramatists. Directed by Garry Hynes, the DruidMurphy experience allows audience members to see each play individually or the full three- play cycle in one day. DruidMurphy is part of the etcetera! series. Tom Murphy Panel Discussions Added to Lincoln Center Festival Program 7/11

A highlight of Lincoln Center Festival will be DruidMurphy, three plays (Conversations on a Homecoming, A Whistle in the Dark, and Famine) by Tom Murphy, staged by Garry Hynes for Druid Theatre Company from July 5-14 in the Gerald W. Lynch Theater. To complement these performances, Fordham University's Institute of Irish Studies, The Galway University Foundation, and the National University of Ireland, Galway will host an all-day symposium on July 12 from 1-6:30 PM at Keogh Studio Theater, Fordham University at Lincoln Center, 113 W. 60th Street at 9th Avenue.

The Manhattan Theatre Club production of TRANSLATIONS by Brian Friel begins previews tonight, January 4 at the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street) in preparation for a Thursday, January 25 opening night. The co-production with McCarter Theatre Center is directed by Tony Awardâ-winner Garry Hynes (Beauty Queen of Leenane).
