Collca Releases the Great Camel Experiment of the Old West eBook

The Great Camel Experiment of the Old West, Sherry Alexander, introduces us to a little known event in the mid-1800s that could have changed the American history of the old West. Taken from the diaries and official documents written by the men involved, her book chronicles the true story of the 'purchase of camels and importation of dromedaries for military purposes'. Readers follow the camels' journey from their arrival in Texas to their use throughout the Southwest. ROYAL BLOOD Set for Four Appearances at SXSW

White Lodging Celebrates Official Groundbreaking for the Westin Austin Downtown

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Sept. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ White Lodging Services Corporation hosted a groundbreaking celebration for a second Westin hotel in Austin, Texas. The Westin Austin Downtown broke ground Aug. 5 and is scheduled to open in Spring 2015 on the northeast corner of East Fifth Street and San Jacinto Boulevard. Melissa Etheridge Performs at Living Free Animal Sanctuary on 10/5

Dr. Daniel Barth Speaks at La Sierra University Today

Dr. Daniel Barth is a Reagan Scholar, award-winning educator, Associate Professor of Astronomy at Mt. SAN JACINTO College, and best-selling author of The Maurice Series. The Riverside Astronomical Society, located in Riverside, CA, has invited Dr. Barth to speak in the Cossentine Hall at La Sierra University today, April 20th, 2013.
