An eclectic lineup is featured this month at Blue Note Hawaii with an array of iconic national artists, local favorites and hilarious comedians. The Henry Kapono Artist to Artist Series continues with Jerry Santos of Olomana, followed by local greats Shawn Pimental and Lehua Kalima, one-man wonder Tavana, Kapono N??ili?ili, Brother Noland and of course the incomparable Willie K. The Blue Note Hawaii Comedy Series continues this month with Steve Byrne and Louie Anderson. National recording artist and GRAMMY Award-winning R&B icon Regina Belle kicks off the month and is book ended with a capella phenoms Take 6. More artists this month include bandoneon player JP Jofre and his Nuevo Tango Quartet, the amazing flamenco guitarist Ottmar Liebert and pop singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson. There are also two late-night shows with self-proclaimed blues road dog G Love, following his performances at the sold-out Jack Johnson concerts.

Baryshnikov Arts Center's (BAC) Fall 2017 music presentations include BAC Salon: Telemann, Farrin, Wolfe + Prokofiev featuring the New York premiere of a work by Julia Wolfe (October 5 and 6); violin virtuoso Gidon Kremer performing Mieczyslaw Weinberg's 24 Preludes, Op. 100 (October 31 and November 1); and BAC Salon: Pauline Oliveros featuring IONE and International Contemporary Ensemble (November 28).

Due to popular demand, Greenhouse Theater Center is pleased to announce the return of Cathy Schenkelberg's hit one-woman show SQUEEZE MY CANS, directed by Shirley Anderson, playing February 16 - March 12, 2017 at 2016 at The Greenhouse Theater Center (Upstairs Mainstage), 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Schenkelberg's evocative and humorous account of life as a Scientologist returns for a full run following a limited engagement last summer during the Greenhouse's popular Solo Celebration! Series, now being produced by the Greenhouse Theater Center. 

The Sound of Music will play Hershey Theatre from Tuesday, March 21 through Sunday, March 26, 2017. This series of performances marks the first time The Sound of Music has performed in Hershey since 1978.

The University of Texas at Austin's award-winning dance company Dance Repertory Theatre returns to the stage in Momentum, February 15-26 at the B. Iden Payne Theatre. An exploration of the influence of African American culture upon contemporary dance in the twenty-first century, Momentum features works by nationally renowned artists, including Gesel Mason, Dr. Lorenzo 'Rennie' Harris, Abby Zbikowski, Adrienne Hurd, Netta Yerushalmy, Ananya Chatterjea and Dance Repertory Theatre Artistic Directors Charles O. Anderson, Jeremy Arnold and Lyn C. Wiltshire.
