CHICAGO, May 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ "Yeah I've done alright," said business executive, global futurist, author, strategic thinker and former investment banker David Andersonto a TEDx audience in Klagenfurt, Austria. The topic of his talk was "Discovering Your Personal and Professional Mission." In his TEDx Talk, the native Chicagoan spoke about overcoming almost unfathomable odds, helping to raise his siblings after his parents separated and his mother developed a mental illness, all while just a teenager. Anderson developed a personal mission statement that reads in part, "I pledge allegiance to my success, I pledge allegiance to do my best," that has been his north star ever since.

Currently, Anderson is president of the Americas for KEEP Global, an international "green" consulting, cleaning and products firm with over 6,000 employees. The millennial's journey has taken him from Chicago's South Side to the White House, where he was an aide in the executive offices of the White House during the Obama administration, to investment banking with Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, and to entrepreneurship as the Co-Founder of Student Loan 411. Anderson was selected by the World Economic Forum as a Global Shaper, and he is a senior advisor and Honorary Consul to the country of Moldova.

"I think the influx of millennials in society is changing hearts and minds about what 'mission' looks like, they want to work to achieve a 'mission' not just work for a company," says Anderson. "Since my TEDx Talk there's been an increased interest in my speaking on the topic of 'mission focused leadership and millennials' as it relates to the next generation."

"David's blend of entrepreneurial spirit, financial savvy, powerful networking, and global vision has been the driver behind KEEP Global's expansion in the U.S., allowing us to positively impact the environment," says Dianke Wang, the company's chairman and CEO.

Former White House event mogul, Delores Balogun, hosted a reception for Anderson earlier this year celebrating their new partnership, at a condo formerly owned by Oprah Winfrey in Chicago's Water Tower. "David is a futurist in terms of forecasting the impact the next generation will have on globalization, investment and economics," says Balogun. "His goal is to challenge your thinking about business in our ever-changing world.

Anderson's personal drive, passion and work ethos allowed him to rise from the streets of Chicago to the White House, and it is a story worth sharing. His unconventional thinking has led others to inquire about his approach and how it has garnered him numerous accolades and leadership responsibility, including managing over $5 billion in assetS. Anderson's impressive resume includes Harvard University, the World Economic Forum - Global Shaper, The White House, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and quickly scaling his entrepreneurial venture, a student loan advisory solutions company.
