For those craving a show after the show, 54 BELOW, the new performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, offers its Tuesday night cocktail party/songfest, "Backstage." Special guest stars on January 22nd include performances by The Skivvies, from NEWSical, Christina Bianco, songwriter Bobby Cronin with Broadway's Kate Shindle from Legally Blonde, Wonderland and Andrew Kober from Hair, from Broadway's Bring It On Ryann Redmond and Sherie Sanders (Urinetown and author of Rock The Audition.)

Mandy Gonzalez has joined the cast of Rockwell: Life on a Palette, a new musical based on Norman Rockwell's covers for the Saturday Evening Post, which will receive staged readings in New York City today, January 10 and the 11th, 2013. With book and lyrics by Eleanor Albano and Anthony Barnao, and music by Ron Abel, this reading of Rockwell will be directed by Glenn Casale.

The It Gets Better Project, created to show young LGBT people the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach will present their 2012 A Better Holiday concert. The concert will be held on December 16 from 7-10PM at XL Nightclub in partnership with The Group Entertainment, and will raise funds for the Ali Forney Center (AFC), the nation's largest organization working on behalf of runaway and homeless LGBTQ youth; the AFC had a vital drop-in center destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in late October.

Broadway Dreams Foundation, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing training, mentoring and career opportunities to the next generation of musical theater performers, visited the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. In honor of the occasion, Broadway Dreams Founder and Executive Director Annette Tanner rang the Closing Bell along with Broadway teaching artists Tony Vincent (American Idiot, NBC's 'The Voice') and Craig D'Amico (Annie Get Your Gun), as well as BDF's brightest students and rising stars.

NYU N'harmonics a capella group will be hosting its alumni reunion concert on December 10th at 9 p.m. at DROM on the Lower East Side, featuring many successful actors and artists within the NYC and Broadway community who were once members of the group. Some of these performers include Carrie Manolakos, Shaina Taub (The Daughters), Alyse Alan Louis (Mamma Mia), Josh Segarra (Lysistrata Jones), Ryann Redmond (Bring it On), F. Expanded to thirty categories this year, the BCAs (or "Broadies") honor Chicago's theater productions and artists in both Equity and Non-Equity categories, including plays, musicals, revues, Theater for Young Audiences, touring shows and special theatrical events. Productions which opened between November 1, 2011 and October 31, 2012 were eligible for nomination.
