Performers from the Musical Theatre and Classical communities will gather to raise funds and awareness for Broadway Impact (www.broadwayimpact.org), the organization of theatre artists and fans mobilized in support of marriage equality.
BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
Chinese Mother Jewish Daughter Productions will present a developmental reading of Madame: The Musical on October 10 at Ripley-Grier Studios. The work was previously developed at the New York Musical Theater Festival's inaugural reading series in 2012.
Boys Will Be Boys will play at The Pershing Square Signature Center Studio Theatre (480 West 42nd St) on Wed, July 17 at 8:30pm; Thur, July 18 at 1:30pm and5:30pm; Sat, July 20 at 9:30pm; Wed, July 24 at 9:30pm; and Fri, July 26 at 5:30pm.
