Now, as an early Christmas gift for SHOOTER fans, USA Network has announced a season two pick-up of the action series starring Ryan Phillippe and Omar Epps.

USA Network will kick off the holidays beginning Monday, December 12, with WWE HOLIDAY WEEK. In addition to regularly scheduled live WWE events, USA will feature movies starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the 14th annual WWE'S TRIBUTE TO THE TROOPS – a special that honors our servicemen and women and celebrates their dedication and commitment to our country.

USA Network announced a series pick-up for SHOOTER, a drama based on the best-selling Bob Lee Swagger novel by Stephen Hunter, Point of Impact, and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg.  The co-production with Paramount Television and Universal Cable Productions comes from executive producers Wahlberg (“Ballers,” “Boardwalk Empire”) of Closest to the Hole Productions; Stephen Levinson (“Ballers,” “Boardwalk Empire”) of Leverage Entertainment; and Lorenzo di Bonaventura ('Transformers,' 'The Real O'Neals').  John Hlavin (“The Shield”) wrote the pilot and will also executive produce.  Simon Cellan Jones (“Bloodline”) directed the pilot.

CBS Films announced today that it has acquired U.S. rights to the action heist thriller COMANCHERIA. David Mackenzie ('Starred Up') is set to direct the film from a screenplay by Taylor Sheridan ('Sicario'). Sidney Kimmel, Peter Berg (Film 44) and Julie Yorn (LBI) will produce the film with Carla Hacken and Gigi Pritzker serving as executive producers.
