SPINNING INTO LIGHT to Play B Street Theatre, 11/30-1/4

B Street Theatre, Sacramento's Resident New Works Theatre, is pleased to present its 19th Mainstage world premiere for the holidays: Spinning Into Light, a musical. The production runs November 30, 2014 - January 4, 2015.

Paz Vega Joins Romantic Comedy ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME

AMBI Pictures and Paradox Studios announced today that Paz Vega (“Sex and Lucia,” “Spanglish,” “Grace of Monaco”) has signed on for the romantic comedy “All Roads Lead to Rome,” joining Sarah Jessica Parker, Claudia Cardinale, Rosie Day and Raoul Bova.

Tig Notaro Coming to Ridgefield Playhouse, 9/29

Comedian Tig Notaro's Boyish Girl Interrupted Tour will stop at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Monday, September 29, at 8 p.m. She is called "a comic's comic", and her stage persona is somewhere on the Steven Wright-Todd Barry-Mitch Hedberg continuum. Hers is a distinct brand of observational comedy. Tig is known for her debut role in the feature film In a World, her work in Shreveport with Ryan Phillippe and Walk of Shame with Elizabeth Banks. No holds barred for this comedian who tells it like it is - from doing a bit on pop star Taylor Dane to announcing to the audience that she had breast cancer, Tig's stand-up has become 'instantly legendary' with many comedians praising her work. This event is part of the Clark Construction Comedy Series.

New Poster, Teaser for JACKHAMMER, Out 9/2 on VOD

Gravitas (US and International) and Phase 4 Films (Canada) announced today that they have acquired VOD rights to JACKHAMMER, a male stripper comedy from writer/director/star Michael Hanus, co-writers Guy Christie, Duncan MacLellan, Julian Paul and Jason Burkart. The film features Jamie Kennedy, Jason Burkart, Peter Shinkoda, Robb Wells, Nicole Sullivan and a cameo appearance from Pamela Anderson. The film is slated for a VOD release with numerous cable operators, online platforms and Reelhouse.org online partnerships, worldwide on September 2nd, 2014.
