Dixon Place in association with Hendel Productions, Wayne Brady, Michele Crowley, Shotgun Productions and Earl Dax presents the New York workshop debut of CLEAR: A new musical experience. CLEAR features a book, music & lyrics by Paul Oakley Stovall, with additional music by Stew, Ryan Link, Christo Willis and Irv Johnson. Danieal Goldstein will direct the production.

Performances of WONDERLAND - A New Alice. A New Musical begin tonight, Wednesday, January 5 at 7:30pm at The David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts (Judy Lisi, President and CEO) in Tampa, Florida where it will run through January 16, 2011.
Goldberg-Produced WHITE NOISE Heads to Chicago this Spring

A casting notice just released by AEA reveals that the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise will play its pre-Broadway engagement at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago this spring. Performances are scheduled to begin on April 1, with an opening date of April 9. Rehearsals begin in February in New York City. Last month, White Noise director Sergio Trujillo has suggested the show may be Chicago-bound, telling the Tribune: 'I think we're going to get it up in Chicago...Soon.'

Clayton Cornelious as Caterpillar, Jose Llana (Spelling Bee, Flower Drum Song) as El Gato, Karen Mason (Hairspray, Mamma Mia!) as Queen of Hearts, Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde, Cabaret, Jekyll and Hyde) as Mad Hatter, Carly Rose Sonenclar (Les Miserables, Little House on the Prairie) as Chloe and Edward Staudenmayer (Spamalot, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me) as White Rabbit. With a book by Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy, lyrics by Jack Murphy, music by Frank Wildhorn, choreography by Marguerite Derricks and direction by Gregory Boyd, WONDERLAND will open at Broadway's Marquis Theatre on Sunday, April 17, 2011, and performances will begin Monday, March 21.

Chris Jones reports in the Chicago Tribune that the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise may be getting its pre-Broadway try-out in Chicago sometime in the very near future. White Noise director Sergio Trujillo tells the Tribune: 'I think we're going to get it up in Chicago...Soon.'

BroadwayWorld has learned that the Broadway-bound White Noise will receive a private industry reading on Friday, October 1, 2010. As BroadwayWorld has previously speculated, Whoopi Goldberg and Tom Leonardis have joined producers Holly Way and Jay Strommen with the intention of bringing the production to Broadway as early as next season. No official announcement has been made. Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys, Memphis, Next To Normal, Addams Family) directs.
