The longlist for the annual Evening Standard Theatre Awards has been announced, and includes Dame Judi Dench, Dame Helen Mirren, James McAvoy and Dominic West.

Stephen Fry, who is making his Broadway acting debut as Malvolio in the critically acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe production of TWELFTH NIGHT, will be a guest on 'The Colbert Report' on Thursday, October 24. 'The Colbert Report' airs at 11:30 PM ET on Comedy Central, 10:30 PM Central.

Rupert Goold, the Almeida Theatre's Artistic Director, will direct the World Premiere ofAmerican Psycho, a new musical thriller with book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik, based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis. It will run from 3 December 2013 to 25 January 2014 with Press Night on 12 December.

Hackney Empire announced today on its website that the producers of MOLLY WOBBLY'S TIT FACTORY, originally scheduled to run tonight, Sept 20, through October 5, 2013, have been forced to cancel the show 'due to their unforseen financial difficulties.'

The London premiere of a musical comedy by Paul Boyd --? Molly Wobbly's Tit Factory -- will be at Hackney Empire from tonight 20 September to Saturday 5 October 2013. The Press performance will be on Sunday 22 September at 5.00pm.

This September, the Getty Museum and CalArts' Center for New Performance (CNP), in association with Trans Arts, will presentPrometheus Bound, the eighth annual outdoor theater production in the Getty Villa's Barbara and Lawrence Fleischman Theater. Featuring a newly-translated text by noted poet and essayist Joel Agee, Prometheus Bound will be directed by Travis Preston, artistic director of CNP and dean of the CalArts School of Theater, and include original music by composer Ellen Reid and celebrated jazz multi-instrumentalist Vinny Golia (who will also perform live onstage).

The Judas Redux team (led by Executive Producers Julia Albain and Corey Lubowich of Team StarKid fame) presents a new production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis, and directed by Julia Albain. The Last Days of Judas Iscariot will be presented at Stage 773, 1225 West Belmont in Chicago, for 18 performances, today, August 23 - September 8, 2013. The Press Opening is scheduled for Sunday, August 25 at 6:00 p.m.

'The Hollow Crown' is a lavish new series of filmed adaptations of four of Shakespeare's most gripping history plays; RICHARD II, HENRY IV, PARTS I and II and HENRY V on THIRTEEN's GREAT PERFORMANCES beginning Friday, September 20 at 9 p.m.

After starring as 'Rita' in two workshop productions of the musical adaptation of the film MADE IN DAGENHAM, Gemma Arterton is officially the producers' top pick to star in the show when it comes to the West End. The Daily Mail reports that backer Stage Entertainment is meeting with theatre owners to scout a Fall 2014, mid-sized house for MADE IN DAGENHAM's stage debut.

Antony Sher as Sigmund Freud leads a cast of David Horovitch, Adrian Schiller and Lydia Wilson in Terry Johnson's Hysteria at the Hamstead Theatre, a hilarious and insightful farce that raises intriguing questions about freud's radical revision of his theories on hysteria. Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will present a new production of Bertolt Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle featuring Christopher Lloyd (Azdak), directed by Brian Kulick (who directed Brecht's Galileo last season), and featuring new music by Tony Award-winning singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening). The Caucasian Chalk Circle will begin performances tonight, May 3 at CSC (136 East 13th Street) for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 9. The official opening is Thursday, May 30.
