Illumination Theatre Productions' opening night performance of SORDID LIVES will include a special appearance by the play's author Del Shores. Shores, an award-winning producer, writer, director and actor, will attend the opening night performance at 7:30 p.m., Friday July 26 at the John Hand Theatre, 7653 E. 1st Place, Denver. The show will be followed by a VIP reception where audience members will have a chance to meet and visit with the author.

STAGES ST. LOUIS is thrilled to announce new staff appointments to STAGES' Turley Performing Arts Academy. Broadway Veteran, Vince Pesce will assume the position of Director of Education at STAGES Kent Center for Theatre Arts, the new state-of-the-art facility, effective immediately. Pesce replaces longtime Education Director Rob Grumich, who will remain during the transition through July. Also, Tali Allen Liddell will become the Manager of Community Programs and Partnerships.

TV Land will debut the Emmy(R) Award-winning comedy 'The Golden Girls' on Saturday, March 16, it was announced today. Marathons will launch on Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, from 3-11pm, followed by a week-long primetime tribute to each of the characters. Then, fans take over the air! Viewers can go online now* and choose their favorite episodes on TV Land's Facebook Page, then watch the results on Friday, March 22 from 7-10pm. After launch week, the show will settle into its regular timeslot of 7pm, Monday through Saturday, and 5pm on Sundays.
