THE UNIT: New Québec Plays Ready For The Stage- Professional Reading 9/20-23

After great success last year with the inaugural project, Infinitheatre presents the second cohort of the Quebec English-language Playwrights' Unit (The Unit). This rich roster of uniquely Quebec plays is poised for programming in theatres across the country. The Unit, under the guidance of dramaturge and playwright Alexandria Haber, is proud to announce that after a year in development there will be seven staged readings from September 20-23. Readings take place at Centaur Theatre, The Segal Centre for Performing Arts, MainLine Theatre and Espace Freestanding Room. All events are free, with donations gratefully accepted.

Romanian Pianist Daniel Ciobanu To Make American Debut At Weill Recital Hall At Carnegie Hall

The young Romanian pianist Daniel Ciobanu will be presented in solo recital by the American Friends of the Arthur Rubinstein International Music Society, Thursday evening, October 18, 2018, 7 pm at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall (154 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019). Mr. Ciobanu was awarded the Second Prize and Audience Favorite Prize at the 2017 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel-Aviv, Israel; his program will include works by Enescu, Mussorgsky, Scriabin, and Stravinsky.

The Green Room 42 Presents Andrea Wolff's Newest Cabaret 'I Can't Trace Time'

The Green Room 42 Presents stage and television performer, Andrea Wolff, in her new cabaret, I Can't Trace Time, a passionate and whimsical look at the arc of life. Featuring a signature mixture of pop and Broadway, Andrea Wolff's I Can't Trace Time features a master entertainer who has been widely lauded for her strong comic timing, offbeat and compelling characterizations and superb taste in music. Prolific, award winning British Composer and Musical Director/Arranger, Jude Obermuller will lead a quintet and Special Guest Artist, guitarist Sean Harkness will appear. The show is directed by 2018 MAC and Bistro Award winning writer-actor, Dan Ruth. The Green Room 42 is located on the fourth floor of YOTEL NYC, on Tenth Avenue between 42nd and 41st Streets .
