Charles Court Opera to Present BUTTONS - ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY, Dec 6-Jan 7

Charles Court Opera's boutique panto has become a legendary part of North London's Christmas, returning for a magnificent seventh year running to the Rosemary Branch Theatre in this topsy-turvy retelling of one of the best loved fairytales, Cinderella. Buttons - Another Cinderella Story runs at the Rosemary Branch Theatre from Friday 6 December to Tuesday 7 January. Press night is Tuesday 10 December at 7.30pm.

The Vagrancy is honored to bring you the West Coast Premiere of BOTTOM OF THE WORLD by Lucy Thurber. This poignant, quirky, emotional drama unfolds around a young woman dealing with her sister's sudden death. This life-affirming piece, helmed by Director Sabina Ptasznik, flashes back to 1910 Appalachia accompanied by live bluegrass band, Blue Bird Bandits. BOTTOM OF THE WORLD elicits a heartfelt look at the various characters' struggle through loss and longing, while striving for human connection. Ptasznik says, 'This is the kind of show that asks you to abandon your perception of what love is. It is my hope that someone who sees the show is inspired to question what people in their lives mean in simple, yet unconventional, ways. This show is a return to simplicity in complicated, heavy times.'After the play patrons are welcome to a VAGRANT HOOTENANNY hosted by Blue Bird Bandits. Fun, dancing and moonshine guaranteed. Playwright Lucy Thurber's THE HILL TOWN PLAYS, a 5-play cycle, currently plays in 4 venues all across New York City. BOTTOM OF THE WORLD opens at The Lounge Theatres and runs October 12th - November 3rd.

Olivier Libaux to Play Uncovered Queens of The Stone Age at Joes Pub, 10/15

Nouvelle Vague producer Olivier Libaux's Uncovered Queens Of The Stone Age is out now on Music For Music Lovers. To celebrate the release, Libaux will play several dates in the U.S., his first stateside performances of material from Uncovered Queens Of The Stone Age. Confirmed dates include Joe's Pub in New York on October 15, World Café in Philadelphia on October 18 and Le Petit Campus in Montreal October 20. More dates are forthcoming.

AN EVENING OF MUSIC AND COMEDY XI Set for 10/8 at Don't Tell Mama

Michael Martinez is proud to announce An Evening of Music and Comedy XI at Don't Tell Mama on October 8, 2013. This showcase and variety show will feature singers Gabriella Marie Antonino, William Hartery ( Disney's Villains Tonight), Natasha Repass, Michelle Ricciardi and Katherine Robinson (Disney's Villains Tonight, Sesame Street Live! ). Producer Michael Martinez has previously presented showcases at Birdland, Don't Tell Mama and T. Schreiber Studio in New York City. These showcases feature emerging stars of comedy, music, and theatre. Michael has also promoted concerts and productions in venues across the country including B.B. Kings Blues Club, Carnegie Hall, Joe's Pub, La Mama Theatre, Le Poisson Rouge, The Paramount Theater in Asbury Park and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
