Fly on the Wall Theatre will present a Staged Reading of Martin McDonagh's acclaimed play: A Skull in Connemara - the second in his celebrated Leenane Trilogy (which includes The Beauty Queen of Leenane and The Lonesome West).

Each September, Mick O' Dowd stoically carries out the grim task of making room at his overcrowded local cemetery, by exhuming The Remains of those buried in old gravesites. But this year is different. This year, he learns it's time to dig up the section containing his wife's grave, and he is forced to confront the rumours that have been swirling around him since her untimely death seven years earlier.

Directed by Rod Ceballos (cited by Now Magazine for Outstanding Direction/2013 Toronto Fringe), the reading will take place at Fionn MacCool's Restaurant/Pub (181 University Avenue) on October 20th and 21st, 2013.

A Skull in Connemara features Dora Award winner Rosemary Dunsmore, Kelly Penner (The Railway Children & Shaw Festival), Rod Ceballos (The Weir) and David Mackett (Cold Comfort/Outstanding Performance - Now Magazine).

Have a pint, hear a play as Fly on the Wall Theatre launches its second season of Play Readings at Fionn MacCool's in Toronto's Financial District.

Performances: Sunday October 20th at 2PM | Monday October 22nd at 7:30PM
