York Theatre Company continues the Winter 2014 Musicals in Mufti Series with Smiling, The Boy Fell Dead with Book by Ira Wallach, Music by David Baker, and Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. Directed by James Glossman and with music direction by Joseph Baker, the cast features Anthony Apicella, Reathel Bean, Anthony Blaha, Allison Carr, Emily Daly, Laura Darrell, Matt Dengler, Nick Gaswirth, David Green, Rose Hemingway, Nancy Johnston, Judy Kaye, Paul Murphy and Tony Roberts. OUTSIDE MULLINGAR'S Debra Messing Appears on THE TODAY SHOW Today

Debra Messing, star of Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere Outside Mullingar, the new play by John Patrick Shanley, directed by Doug Hughes, will appear on 'The Today Show' as a live guest today, February 18 at 10:00AM. Locally, the program can be found on NBC (Time Warner Cable channel 4.)

TIl DivoRCE DO US PART, an original musical comedy revue based on the real-life story of a jilted wife who wrote this show while going through her own divorce from a Broadway producer, will open Tuesday, February 18th at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street at Union Square). The show will play an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement. Mark Waldrop is the director with concept, lyrics and choreography by Ruthe Ponturo and music by John Thomas Fischer. Rosemary Loar, Jeff Macauley & More Set for MUSIC AT THE MANSION, 2/23

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, 'Music at the Mansion', on Sunday, February 23, at 3pm. Performers include Jeff Macauley, The Ted and Lo Show and Rosemary Loar. The featured performer in the 'Young Musician Moment' will be Julia Maskin.

59th Annual Village Voice Obie Awards to be Held 5/19 at Webster Hall

The Village Voice, the nation's first and largest alternative weekly newspaper, announced today that esteemed critic and longtime judge of the awards, Michael Feingold, will serve as Obie Chairman for the 59th Annual Village Voice OBIE Awards, to be presented Monday, May 19, at Webster Hall.

The evening will be co-hosted by two of the company's alumni actors: two-time Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce (at PH in Richard Greenberg's The Maderati in 1987) and two-time Tony Award nominee, two-time Obie Award winner and 2012 Special Drama Desk Award winner Mary Testa (at PH in William Finn's In Trousers in 1979, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Lucky Stiff in 1988, Tom Donaghy's From Above in 1998/Obie Award and Kathleen Tolan's The Wax in 2000).

The producers of the show felt that everyone deserves to feel loved and appreciated. After all, the musical comedy is based on the real-life story of a woman who wrote this show while going through her own divorce from a Broadway producer, who left her for a much younger woman.
