The Plaids are back for their one and only Earthly Christmas special, and they're doing it at Hanover Little Theatre for Christmas in July.

The Picture of John Gray will play the The Old Red Lion Theatre, 418 St John Street, London EC1V 4NJ, from Tuesday 5th - Saturday 30th August 2014, 7.30pm. Press Night: Friday 8th August 2014, 7.15pm.

Banned by the Lord Chamberlain for its facetious and irreverent treatment of adultery, This Was A Man, a previously unseen play by Noel Coward, directed by actress Belinda Lang, opens for its long overdue UK professional premiere in a strictly limited three week season at the Finborough Theatre tonight, 15 July 2014 (Press Night: Thursday, 17 July 2014 at 7.30pm).

Malala Yousafzai entered the world's consciousness on October 9, 2012, when a member of the Taliban shot her on her way to school in Pakistan. She had been speaking out about the right of all girls to an education. On her 16th birthday, July 12, 2013, which the UN Secretary proclaimed 'Malala Day,' she addressed 1,000 delegates to the UN Youth Assembly. She's the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Her book, I Am Malala (Little, Brown, 2013), tells her story (a version for young readers, written with Patricia McCormick, is coming in August from Little, Brown).

In 'Voices of Swords' by Kari Floren, the late thirties son of a woman facing heart surgery hires a forty-something personal organizer to minister to his lonely yet indomitable mother. The organizer is already struggling unsuccessfully to reunite her own family. As she is sorely tested by this job, her growing toward the light is an object lesson to Baby Boomers, whose struggles to care for dependent parents are a preoccupation of our age. The comedic drama will be presented August 15 to September 7 by Right Down Broadway Productions at Walkerspace, 46 Walker Street. Eve Brandstein directs a cast of mostly Broadway regulars including Loni Ackerman, Bob Ari, Phillip Christian, Gillien Goll, Michael McKenzie and Celia Schaefer.
