OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network Announces Premiere Dates for Upcoming Documentary Films

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today premiere dates for six films to be broadcast as part of the OWN Documentary Club. The films, airing monthly on Thursdays from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT, will round out the 2011 OWN Documentary Club film slate and launch into the new year beginning with 'Life 2.0' August 25, 'Most Valuable Players' September 8, 'Miss Representation' October 20, 'Crime After Crime' November 3, 'One Lucky Elephant' December 1 and 'Louder Than a Bomb' January 5, 2012. The announcement comes on the heals of the network's first OWN Documentary Club film 'Becoming Chaz' garnering three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Nonfiction Special, Directing and Picture Editing.

Daniel Radcliffe Snags Another Teen Choice Nomination

TEEN CHOICE 2011 will celebrate the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion in the choicest, star-studded two-hour event airing live Sunday, Aug. 7 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX, and the second wave of nominations has just been announced. Daniel Radcliffe, who is currently starring in the Broadway production of HOW TO SUCCEED, snagged yet another nomination for 'Choice Summer Movie Star.' FLASH FRIDAY: RENT Returns & A Retrospective

In honor of the fresh, new Off-Broadway revival of RENT currently in previews at New World Stages, today we are taking a look back at the various incarnations of the Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical by Jonathan Larson over the years - from the lighting-in-a-bottle original cast led by relative theatrical newcomers Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Daphne Rubin Vega, Taye Diggs, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel and more, all the way up to today and the new New York revival. 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' leads the TEEN CHOICE 2011 nominees with 12 nominations, and GLEE has nine nominations. In addition, 'The Vampire Diaries' has seven nominations, while 'The Hangover Part II,' Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez each earned six nominations.

New Museum Announces Generational Triennial 2/15-4/22/2012

On view from February 15-April 22, 2012, the second New Museum 'Generational' triennial will examine the practices of emerging artists born since the mid-1970s. Eungie Joo, Keith Haring Director and Curator of Education and Public Programs, who was appointed Curator of the 2012 'Generational' last year, will reflect her primary curatorial research in cities rich in cultural production, but often overlooked by US museums.

American Blues Theater Presents Regional Premiere of RANTOUL & DIE, Closes 5/22

American Blues Theater (ABT), Chicago's second oldest Equity Ensemble, caps its 2010-2011 Season with the regional premiere of 'Rantoul & Die' by Mark Roberts, directed by Erin Quigley. 'Rantoul & Die' will take place in the Victory Gardens' Richard Christiansen Theater April 22-May 22. Previews are April 22-25; press opening is Thursday, April 28.
