Molly Regan Keeps It In The Family: Her Journey to August: Osage County

In June, Molly Regan replaced Rondi Reed as August: Osage County's new Mattie Fae. It's not an easy feat for an actor to come into an ensemble in the middle of a run. Add into that replacing a lead actress in the year's Pulitzer, Tony AND Drama Desk winning play two days after that actress won a Tony for her performance. BroadwayWorld.com got a chance to catch up with her and chat about all things August.

August: Osage County to Open at London's National Theatre 11/21

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced that its Pulitzer and Tony Award®-winning American play August: Osage County by ensemble member Tracy Letts, directed by ensemble member Anna D. Shapiro, will play an eight-week engagement at London's National Theatre (Lyttelton Theatre) November 21, 2008 - January 21, 2009. Casting will be announced shortly.

Penguin Rep Presents NY Premiere of 'Fall to Earth'

Michele Pawk and Laura Heisler portray a mother and daughter with a troubled history in 'The Fall to Earth,' a drama by Joel Drake Johnson that is having its New York premiere at Penguin Repertory Company in Stony Point, N.Y., through July 20.

TONYS 2008 Q&A: Rondi Reed of 'August: Osage County'

Rondi Reed has been a Steppenwolf member since 1979, and has appeared in over 60 Steppenwolf productions. Rondi most recently appeared and to great acclaim at that, as Madame Morrible in the Chicago production of Wicked, proving she can do just about anything on a stage! Her many Broadway credits include The Grapes of Wrath, Rise and Fall of Little Voice and of course her current Best Featured Actress in a Play Tony nominated role of Mattie Fae Aiken in Tracy Lett's August: Osage County. We caught with up her at the Tony Nominee's Brunch where she discussed the play and its journey from Chicago to Broadway.
