One week after announcing the pick up of an unprecedented 11 new series and five returning series, Bravo Media continues its momentum with the announcement of eight new series in development, including one scripted project.

Today we continue our series of conversations with the recipients of the 2010 Tony Awards for Special Achievement which this year is being awarded to the Alzheimer's Association of America and their spokesperson: Broadway, film and television star - and past Tony-winner - David Hyde Pierce. REDCAT and the Cunningham Dance Foundation raised more than $100,000 at a special benefit on June 7th celebrating the legacy of the legendary choreographer Merce Cunningham. Broadway legend Hal Prince, producer and director of 50 Broadway musicals and winner of 21 Tony Awards, spoke to Variety about director Kathryn Bigelow, most recently of the film 'The Hurt Locker.' Prince praised Bigelow's direction and collaboration on the film, calling it 'a masterpiece.'

The Broadway casts of RACE and SUPERIOR DONUTS have participated in an online auction to aid the Women In Need charity. The casts designed houses relating to their shows and have put them up for auction on the website www.charitybuzz.com. The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Women In Need group.
