As Bees in Honey Drown is coming to the Shimberg Playhouse this season. The theater is located at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center at 1010 N. W.C. MacInnes Place, Tampa, Florida. The show will play July 8-25. It will begin at 8PM Thursdays - Saturdays and Sundays at 4PM. Ticket Prices are $24.50 and $10 for Students and Seniors. Ching Valdes-Aran and Ali Ewoldt Set for THE PEARL PROJECT, 7/6-25

Ching Valdes-Aran and Ali Ewoldt are set to star in Diverse City Theater's The Pearl Project. Performances run July 6-25 at the Clurman Theatre, and will feature full-length plays by Eric Gamalinda and Jorshinelle Taleon-Sonza and two one-acts, by Kristine M. Reyes. Valdes-Aran will star in Gamalinda's Resurrection, and Ewoldt in Reyes' Quarter Century Baby. Additional casting and creative teams are yet to be announced.

Producers Jed Bernstein and Adam Zotovich announced today that Tony Award-winners James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave will return to the New York stage this Fall to star opposite one another in the Broadway Premiere of Alfred Uhry‘s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Driving Miss Daisy. Directed by David Esbjornson (The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?), Driving Miss Daisy will begin performances on October 7, 2010, at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), with an official opening on Monday, October 25, 2010.
