The Detroit Repertory Theatre has announced the schedule for its 2010-2011 season.

The season will open with Elena Hartwell's A STRANGE DISAPPEARANCE OF BEES, which will run from November 4 to December 26, 2010.  The play is about "sweetness, love, loyalty and....... pollination."

From January 13 to March 20, 2011, the theatre will present A LESSON BEFORE DYING by Romulus Linney.  The play deals with a struggle to preserve a condemned man's dignity.

From March 31 to May 22, 2011, the theatre will present FORGIVING John Lennon by Williams Missouri Downs.  The play focuses on a Somali Muslim woman who clashes with two American professors.

The season will close with Andrea Lepcio's LOOKING FOR THE PONY, which will run from June 2 to June 26, 2011.  The play deals with the determinism of the human spirit.
