As BroadwayWorld previously reported, King Kong, will arrive on Broadway in 2018, but before it does, the musical will get a developmental lab this fall. According to an Equity casting notice, a lab will take place this November in preparation for its upcoming Broadway run.

Cincinnati Ballet returns to the newly renovated Cincinnati Music Hall with six performances of Victoria Morgan's passionate Romeo & Juliet, October 26 through 29.

Bag&Baggage's world premiere production of ROMEO & JULIET (LAYLA & MAJNUN) is a mashup of Shakespeare's classic and a Persian tale of doomed young lovers, written centuries earlier by Nizami Ganjavi (and which may very well have served as Shakespeare's inspiration).

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) is pleased to continue its Common Access Initiative as part of its 22nd season of FREE SHAKESPEARE ON THE COMMON Romeo & Juliet runs July 19 - August 6 on the Boston Common.  Since its founding in 1996, CSC has offered one American Sign Language performance each season.

Shakespeare is given a mod-ern twist in a brand new production of Romeo & Juliet coming to the Belgrade Theatre this June. Shakespeare's most famous love story is brought to the stage with a musical Mods and Rockers theme by Oddsocks Productions who have built a reputation for producing new and innovative adaptations of Shakespeare classics.

ROMEO AND JULIET opened at the Stratford Festival on Thursday night. Director, Scott Wentworth's production takes the Festival Theatre stage by storm and is captivating from start to finish. This is the third production of ROMEO AND JULIET that this reviewer has had the privilege of seeing at the Festival, and it is without a doubt, my favourite.
