The CINCINNATI ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns to for its fifth year, in partnership with Know Theatre of Cincinnati. The 5th Annual Cincinnati #1MPF runs three performances only; August 4th, 5th, and 6th at 8pm. The CINCINNATI ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns to Know Theatre for its fourth year. The marathon evening of one-minute plays by nearly 40 of Cincinnati's established and emerging playwrights and directors plays three nights only, Monday, August 5th, Tuesday August 6th, & Wednesday August 7th at Know Theatre (1120 Jackson St, Cincinnati, OH, 45202).

This week, a lighting-quick comedy takes the stage at TheatreSquared in the "gut-bustingly hilarious" (The Times) The Hound of the Baskervilles, a new adaptation that simultaneously spoofs and reveres Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most celebrated mystery. In this highly theatrical adaptation by Steven Canny and John Nicholson, Sherlock Holmes and Watson set off to the moors to debunk a family 'curse," and encounter dozens of suspicious characters who may be too much for Sherlock-or, for that matter, a cast of three-to handle. TheatreSquared's production is produced in partnership with Virginia Stage Company and directed by Mark Shanahan (Peter and the Starcatcher). A fresh adaptation of a classic French farce - with a script developed in Northwest Arkansas before its Off-Broadway premiere last spring - begins a monthlong, madcap production at TheatreSquared next week.

TheatreSquared will extend its production of the off-Broadway critic's pick Murder for Two to meet demand after a sold-out opening weekend.  Performances will now continue through June 5, 2016, adding six performances to its initial run.
