The 2013 Newtown Arts Festival announces a special benefit concert, "Broadway Sings for Newtown," to be held as part of the festival's eight days of cultural programming on Thursday, September 19 at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Road, in Bethel at 7 p.m. All tickets are $35 general admission and are available at NewtownArtsFestival.com.

Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway returned for one night to Riverspace in Nyack, NY to perform the number one Broadway Revue Touring Show in the United States, featuring Broadway's Rob Evan (Jekyll and Hyde, Tans Siberian Orchestra), Rita Harvey (Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof), Carter Calvert (It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues, Smokey Joe's Cafè), Shayna Steele (Rent, Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar), and William Michals (currently playing the role of Emil de Beque in South Pacific at Lincoln Center). Neil Berg's new cabaret show, RISE UP: The Theater Songs of Neil Berg, came to Feinstein's, hosted by Rob Evan, and featuring a star-studded cast, including current Wicked star Mandy Gonzalez, and special guest, Academy Award-winner F. Murray Abraham, and others for a performance last night, July 18, 2010.

'THE 12', an original rock musical written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Robert Schenkkan, with music, lyrics, and story concept by award winning composer, Neil Berg made its world premiere at Riverspace in Nyack, NY, from March 19 - 21, 2010 before opening the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, April 1st in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

On Sunday, January 10 at the China Club Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Robert Schenkkan, and composer/lyricist Neil Berg presented an industry showcase of their new musical THE 12. Produced by Adam Friedson and Left Feild Productions, this musical showcase is a preview to its premiere production at the Broward Center this upcoming spring. The showcase, part of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters conference, was directed by Richard Seyd.

NATALIE TORO most recently received accolades for her portrayal of Madame Therese Defarge on Broadway in 'A TALE OF TWO CITIES' a role for which she won Sarasota Magazine's Best Supporting Actress Award when the show played its pre-Broadway run at the Asolo Repertory Theatre. BROADWAY: Les Mis?rables, A Christmas Carol. OFF-B'WAY: Zombie Prom. NATIONAL TOURS: Evita (Jeff Award nomination), Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar. Neil Berg's theatrical rock concert event 'The Twelve' debuted at the China Club January 13 at 7:15PM

Neil Berg, the creator of '100 Years of Broadway' and the composer of the coming musical Grumpy Old Men, introduces a new theatrical event - The Twelve­ - an APAP showcase at the China Club (268 West 47th) on Sunday, January 13 at 7PM.

Producer Jeff Gardner presented a star-studded reading of his Broadway-bound Grumpy Old Men: The Musical on November 1 & 2.

Veteran Broadway performer Tamra Hayden and her band will be performing at the Duplex on June 25 at 9:30pm and June 28th at 7pm.

Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman celebrated her birthday with a January 29th concert at Birdland.
